Alesa Lightbourne, Ph.D., is principal of Lightworks
Mediation. She is a Qualified Mediator for Island County
Superior Court, a Certifiied County Mediator by the
Supreme Court of Florida, and a Family Law Mediator
for Washington State.

Alesa is a professor of communications at Chapman University College, NAS Whidbey Island, where she received the Director’s Award for excellence in teaching. She is also the co-author of hundreds of articles and eight books, including Transformation: Opening Doors to Your Highest Potential. Alesa is well-known for her volunteer work in the Oak Harbor community, and is listed in Who’s Who of American Women.
